Invest in a Strong Future—for Girls.

More than ever, girls today are searching for a safe place to belong. They need a place where they can make a contribution—a place where they can participate as meaningful members of society. The Girl Scout Council of St. Croix Valley provides a healthy alternative for girls who are searching for a place to belong.

Girl Scouting makes a Difference

  • Two-thirds of the women in the United States Congress were Girl Scouts.
  • 9 of 10 STUDIO 2B Members (aged 11-17) in our council view their leaders as people they can admire and learn from.
  • 84% of Junior Girl Scouts in our council feel that Girl Scout activities help them learn about people with backgrounds different from their own.
  • In a recent national study, nearly two-thirds of women of achievement surveyed were Girl Scouts in their youth, compared to only 41% of American women overall.
  • A majority of Girl Scouts of all ages feel that Girl Scouting provides more opportunities for leadership, service, and team building than school does.
  • 7 of 10 Girl Scouts in a recent survey said they draw upon the Girl Scout Promise and Law in their daily lives.
